There May Be Something To This Travelling Thing...

I've always said that I wanted to travel, at least by car to see different things and people. The furthest I've ever driven so far has been to Myrtle Beach, SC and back, which is about 4 hours away from my home, and to Atlanta, which is about the same distance... Now I've been further...as far as up to Washington, DC but that was by bus.

Yesterday, on my day off I decided to take a short road trip about an hour down the highway to Hendersonville, NC. Doing so renewed my want to just hit the road and go somewhere.

I am in full plot mode!!!

In the Blink of an Eye...

In less than a moment's life can change, either for better or for the worst. There are things in life that we can control, like our attitude, our reactions, etc. However, there are other things tat will happen that no one or nothing can prevent from happening. Those are the things that will either make or break us.

Be not defined by your reaction to the things that happen that are beyond your control...Be known by the actions you chose that will carry you through them.

I don't know how many of you out there are watching the things you put into your bodies at restaurants these days but if you're like me and have to cut a lot of sodium out of your lifestyle, you'd be floored at the amount of sodium that food in restaurants contain. As soon as I figure out how to post pdf files for viewing here, I will start posting some, just so you can see how much fat and sodium you consume when you're eating out.

It's Writing Season!!!
