Because God told me so…



He told me that

He was preparing me

Appreciate the preparation required

For you to become visible

To each one of my senses

Fog up my eyeglass lenses

Every time my optics

Are blessed to sense your presence…



And I can feel the essence of you

Embracing my very existence

And that alone is the reason

That patience is a necessity

To wake up next to you

Every morning

For the rest of our lives…

Insomnia

I'm wide awake again. Too much on my mind as usual. So much that I don't know what to focus on first. I wish I didn't have to focus on any of it. I've been told to "suck it up" so long by so many that I have no one to talk to about anything. Honestly, "everything is going to be alright" no longer serves as motivation for me. I love God and I know He's there but I still feel so alone at times.

I'm struggling...
